📝 Health Article Writer

Create articles for Health Decoded's Pages including:

• Health myths
• Health mysteries

     5 hours of community service will be given for one article under this role

🎤 Healthcare Career Interview Volunteer

Interested in a healthcare career?

Volunteers can create a Career Decoded feature by:

• Researching the healthcare career, including responsibilities, education pathways, and career information.
• Developing interview questions for a healthcare professional in that field.
• Contact and Interview a healthcare professional.
• Creating an article that combines career research with an exclusive professional O&A.

These articles allow readers to explore healthcare careers through both research and real experiences.

10 hours of community service will be given for one article under this role

 All articles will be reviewed before publication to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with Health Decoded’s mission.

  Submitted articles may not be published if:

• The topic is already covered, researched, written by a member of the Health Decoded executive team or any other volunteer, and is planned to be published as a future article.
• The article does not meet Health Decoded’s content guidelines.
• If the article was fully written with AI.
• The research used to write the article is not credible or appropriate. 

If approved, you will receive a confirmation email that your article will be published, and volunteers may have their name and basic information displayed alongside their article.

      Volunteer Hours

Health Decoded volunteers may use their published work as volunteer experience depending on their school's requirements (if applicable).

Volunteers are responsible for tracking their own volunteer hours and should keep records of:

• Articles and appropriate research completed
• Interviews conducted
• Submission dates
• Publication confirmation
• Amount of hours

If volunteer hour verification is needed, volunteers can contact Health Decoded's email (healthdecoded.blog@gmail.com) with how you would need the hours signed off, after their work has been approved, so we can provide the appropriate documentation.
